About Popupps — by Ricky Steel
Steel, shaped to be lived with.
Popupps designs sculptural decor in 304 stainless steel: vases, lighting, wall art and furniture for homes that like a little drama in their quiet.
Who we are
Makers of steel, with a designer's eye
Popupps is the design studio of Ricky Steel. We take a material most people know from kitchens and workshops, 304 stainless steel, and give it a second life as objects you live with every day.
Every piece starts as a pure, simple form and ends with a single deliberate gesture: a fold, a twist, a ring. That gesture is what makes a Popupps piece feel calm from across the room and alive up close.
Made for real rooms
Designed to hold the room around it: the light, the people, the evening.
Our values
What we stand for
-
01Material
Honest material
One alloy, 304 stainless steel, chosen because it lasts. It does not rust, it does not tire, and it looks as good in ten years as on the day it arrives.
-
02Design
Original design
Vikrit and Kundal are our own designs, drawn and developed in-house and protected by patent registration. What you buy from us, you will not find copied elsewhere.
-
03Made for you
Made for you
Pieces are made to order, in the finish and size you choose. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for a home: it is made for yours.
